How Do Refunds Work?

We aim to make refunds as smooth and hassle-free as possible. Below is everything you need to know about our refund process, timelines, and methods.

1. Refund Methods

  • Your refund will be credited to either your FLONIFY Wallet or your original payment method, depending on the option you selected during the refund request.
  • If no refund method was chosen, we will process the refund based on your default selection in the Refund Record.

Note:

  • Orders paid with a FLONIFY Gift Card will be refunded back to the Gift Card balance by default.
  • Wallet balances can be used for future purchases or withdrawn back to your original payment method.

2. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund is processed, you will receive a confirmation email. Refund times vary based on your payment method and financial institution:

FLONIFY Gift Card Within 24 hours
FLONIFY Wallet Within 24 hours
PayPal 1-5 business days
Credit/Debit Card 1-15 business days
  • Important: Some banks may take additional time to reflect refunds in your account. If your refund is delayed beyond the expected timeframe, please contact your bank or payment provider.

3. Refunds for Installment Payments (Afterpay & Other Services)

If you paid using an installment payment method (such as Afterpay), refunds will be adjusted accordingly:

Returned Items & Refund Adjustments:

  • If you've returned some or all of your order, we will process your return and send you a confirmation email.
  • If you still have unpaid installments, your invoice will be adjusted based on the returned items. This may reduceor eliminate an upcoming installment.
  • If you've already paid installments, and your refund is greater than the outstanding balance, the remaining installments will be canceled and the difference will be refunded to your original payment method.

Refunding Multiple Installment Payments:

  • Refunds will be issued to the same card used for each installment.
  • If you used different cards for your payments, it is normal to receive refunds at different times depending on the bank's processing speed.

4. What If My Credit/Debit Card is No Longer Valid?

For security reasons, refunds can only be processed back to the original card used for payment.

  • If your card has expired or is no longer active, your bank or card issuer will still be able to redirect the funds to your updated account.
  • If you experience any issues, please contact your bank for assistance.

5. How to Check My Refund in FLONIFY Wallet?

If your refund was processed to your FLONIFY Wallet, follow these steps to check your balance:

1️⃣ Log into your FLONIFY account.
2️⃣ Go to My Assets → My Wallet.
3️⃣ Ensure you are logged into the correct account.
4️⃣ Your Wallet balance can be used on future purchases or withdrawn back to your original payment method.


6. Understanding ARN (Acquirer Reference Number)

  • An Acquirer Reference Number (ARN) is generated for some credit/debit card refunds once the refund is successfully processed.
  • You will find your ARN in the ‘Refund Details’ section of your account, and we will also send it to you via email.
  • If your refund is delayed beyond the expected time, provide this ARN to your bank for further tracking and status updates.

7. Why Did I Receive Less Than the Expected Refund?

If the refunded amount is lower than expected, possible reasons include:

Bank transaction fees: Some banks deduct a service charge when processing refunds.
Exchange rate fluctuations: If you paid in a different currency, the refund amount may change due to exchange rate differences.
Installment deductions: If your refund is being used to offset unpaid installment fees, the refund total may be lower.
Discount adjustments: Refunds are issued based on the actual amount paid, not the original price before discounts or promotions.

Important: Shipping fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
